A Beloved Community Workshop
9am – 3pm, Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Faribault, MN
As the Episcopal Church in Minnesota and beyond turns toward a theology of Beloved Community, our leaders need and deserve concrete skills and tools for leading their faith communities in engaging across cultural and racial differences. This workshop is a next step for those who have completed our Building Bridges Across Culture and Race course. Over the course of the day, you’ll receive an updated approach to your Intercultural Development Plan, reflect with others on the steps you’ve taken, and update the plan for your ministry context now.
Attendance at this workshop is assumed for those taking the online course Changing Church: Missional Practices for Beloved Community. Anyone else who has completed the Intercultural Development Inventory is also welcome! Taking the online course Changing Church is not required for participation in this one-day in-person workshop.
Prerequisites for participation:
- Completion of the SFF’s Building Bridges Across Culture and Race course, OR
