Three and a half things you need to know to take advantage of the School for Formation’s resources this spring.
Racial Justice: Five free short courses available through June 11.
You can check out these resources on your own — but they’re also structured to use in groups. Faith communities that have been digging into this year’s Mission Opportunity — or those that haven’t had had a chance — will really appreciate these!
Looking for inspiration for lifelong learning?
Our More Resources page is a hub for your continuing education plans — find out now about Duke’s Summer Institute on Reconciliation, training for Hispanic ministry, and the Center for Courage and Renewal! We keep a running list of upcoming events, conferences, and opportunities in Minnesota and further afield.
New in 2017-18: Jesus: The Person and The Way, plus two new courses taught by friends at Leaderwise.
In the next few weeks we’ll publish our course calendar for the coming year — we’re stoked about what’s coming up! Veteran SFF instructor Reed Carlson is teaching a new course about the Way of Jesus, and Leaderwise (formerly called North Central Ministry Development Center) folks will be teaching our Pastoral Care course, as well as a Family Systems and Human Development course.
And a bonus reminder: We’d love to talk with you about bringing School for Formation opportunities within reach for your faith community. Reach out to Missioner for Formation Susan Daughtry to talk about how to connect to a course across barriers of geography, cost or tech!
